Job summary

GAS Energy Staffing LLC is seeking a Facilities Engineer for our offshore assets in Lafayette, LA. You will provide engineering and technical support for maintenance, optimization, and capital projects, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering, 10+ years offshore experience, ability to lead designs, estimate costs, prepare AFEs, and coordinate with HSE and operations teams, with travel to offshore sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil or related engineering field.
• PE license preferred; PMP or safety certifications are a plus.
• 10+ years in offshore production facilities or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee repair and maintenance of offshore production equipment and utilities.
• Lead design and execution of capital projects from restorations to new builds.
• Develop accurate cost estimates, AFEs, and project schedules.
• Ensure compliance with 30 CFR 250, API RP14C, and company standards.
• Support contractor HES management and safety objectives.
• Provide technical guidance to contractors during project execution.
• Maintain compliance documentation (P&IDs, safety diagrams, layouts).
