Job summary

OSM Thome is seeking a Maintenance and Assurance Officer to support various offshore vessels worldwide for a drilling and construction contractor. This 12-month assignment (renewable) offers challenging duties in asset management, documentation control and maintenance coordination.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and about 3 years in technical administration, CMMS familiarity, strong English, and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
• Around 3 years' experience in technical administration, document control, or maintenance support in oil & gas or related sector.
• Familiarity with CMMS and EDMS platforms.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and records.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Good understanding of maintenance workflows, documentation, and change control processes.
• Strong communication skills across site and head office.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative and technical support to the local asset management team.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records by updating the CMMS and tracking work orders.
• Assist technical personnel with maintenance coordination and documentation.
• Monitor equipment issues, maintenance reports, and outstanding corrective actions.
• Support maintenance planning activities, including work order administration and process improvements.
• Coordinate MOC documentation, approvals, and close-out actions.
• Assist with facility maintenance administration and related support activities.
• Maintain employee timesheet records and provide administrative follow-up.
• Prepare material requests and maintain related records.
• Manage site documentation in the document management system.
• Track action items and status updates for stakeholders.
• Maintain registers for equipment certifications (lifting gear, rigging, etc.).
• Liaise with site and head office to keep documentation and asset records accurate.
