Job summary

Valaris Limited is seeking a Rig Safety Advisor to provide Health, Safety and Environmental support for all personnel on an offshore installation. The role reports to the regional QHSE Advisor and QHSE Manager and involves advising OIM and department heads on the company’s HSE programs.

Key duties include coordinating training, facilitating drills, conducting rig inspections, and driving behavior-based safety initiatives to improve performance across the installation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of HSE experience.
• NEBOSH or CSP certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide HSE support for personnel on board the installation under guidance from regional QHSE leadership.
• Monitor and coach application of Safe Systems of Work (SSoW).
• Coordinate training per the company requirements and assist with emergency drills.
• Prepare HSE reports requested by the company, customers, and regulatory bodies.
