Job summary

Siemens Gamesa Offshore Heavy Lift Site Manager leads offshore heavy lift and Major Component Exchange campaigns across our offshore wind fleet. You act as the senior operational lead onboard the installation vessel, coordinating technicians, contractors, vessel crews, customers, and project stakeholders to deliver work safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Proven offshore leadership experience in wind, marine, or safety-critical operations.
• Experience leading offshore teams during site-based execution.
• Strong safety leadership with RAMS and permit-to-work knowledge.
• Excellent communication with customers, vessel crews and project stakeholders.
• Ability to make clear operational decisions under changing offshore conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead offshore Heavy Lift and Major Component Exchange campaigns from mobilisation to close-out.
• Act as primary offshore operational contact and escalation point for crews and customers.
• Coordinate daily offshore activities, resources, tooling, materials, and documentation.
• Ensure work is performed safely per procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety briefings, risk assessments, and permit-to-work activities.
• Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and operational reviews.
