Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Facilities Integrity Engineer for a client in the offshore energy sector. Based in East London with hybrid working, you will develop and implement integrity management strategies for offshore platforms, ensuring safety and reliability across the asset lifecycle.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelors in Mechanical or Materials Engineering, 5+ years in asset integrity, and experience with NDT, RBI, and relevant codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Materials Engineering.
• 5+ years in asset integrity management or related field, preferably offshore.
• Knowledge of corrosion, materials science, and NDT techniques.
• Familiarity with RBI software and relevant codes (API, DNV).
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement integrity management plans for offshore facilities.
• Oversee inspection programs (visual, NDT, advanced NDT) to assess asset condition.
• Analyze inspection data to identify corrosion, erosion, fatigue mechanisms.
• Conduct RBI-based risk assessments to prioritize maintenance and repairs.
• Specify repair procedures and oversee execution to ensure integrity.
• Collaborate with design teams on modifications and upgrades.
• Monitor regulatory compliance and industry best practices.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Manage interfaces with inspection agencies and service providers.
