Job summary

CORE Group in Wisconsin is seeking an Electronics Technician to install, maintain, and repair electronic systems on marine vessels, including navigation, communication, and control equipment.

The role requires offshore experience and certifications (OGUK/OEUK, BOSIET, Rigpass, TWIC) and occasional travel; candidates must be able to use troubleshooting tools and work on 12/24V DC power systems while following safety policies.

Qualifications

• Offshore experience required.
• Certifications OGUK/OEUK, BOSIET, Rigpass, and TWIC preferred.
• US passport holder is required.
• Must be able to read electrical schematics and troubleshooting procedures.
• Experience with marine navigation and communication equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose all levels of electronic systems.
• Inspect and maintain radar, VHF, MF/HF, AIS, GPS and camera systems.
• Work with 12VDC and 24VDC power systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on navigation and communication equipment.
• Travel occasionally; on-call for seven-day periods.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational policies.
