Job summary

Oceaneering is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in industrial and offshore environments. The role emphasizes safety, technical expertise, and team collaboration on demanding field sites and vessels.

You will read schematics, perform preventive maintenance, inspect transformers and breakers, diagnose issues with testing equipment, ensure NEC compliance, and support HVAC systems. On-site/offshore work may be required.

Qualifications

Proven experience with industrial/commercial electrical systems.
Ability to read electrical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; safe work practices.
Knowledge of NEC and applicable electrical safety standards.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
Perform routine and preventive electrical maintenance.
Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, motors, and other electrical components.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment.
Repair or replace electrical components as required.
Ensure NEC compliance and safety regulations.
Assist with HVAC system maintenance and troubleshooting.
