Job summary

Noble is seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to maintain and repair MODU electronic control and support systems onboard. You will troubleshoot, support operations, ensure safety compliance, and assist senior engineers in maintaining Noble’s maintenance system.

The role requires 5+ years on MODUs, 3+ years with IFS, and relevant safety certifications. On DP semi-submersibles, a Maintenance Supervisor license may be required. Work will be on site aboard offshore rigs.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification from technical college or apprenticeship.
• 5+ years as Electronics Technician on a MODU.
• 3+ years of experience with IFS.
• Valid safety and training certifications (BOSIET, CA EBS, Confined Space).
• If on DP Semi-submersibles, required license for Maintenance Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair all electronic equipment onboard the rig.
• Ensure repairs and maintenance are completed safely and on schedule.
• Minimize equipment failure within contractual limits.
• Maintain accurate permits, tags and logs.
• Provide technical support to ensure rig efficiency and client objectives.
