Job summary

Noble Corporation seeks an Electronics Technician for MODU maintenance and repair of electronic control and support systems. You will monitor rig systems, troubleshoot issues, uphold safety/environmental standards, and support the Technical Supervisor with efficient procedures.

Required are a recognized trade qualification, 10+ years on MODU, BOSIET/Confined Space training, and a Marshall Island Supervisor license; experience with IFS and strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Trade qualification from a technical college or apprenticeship.
  • 10+ years as Electronics Technician on a MODU.
  • BOSIET CA EBS and Confined Space Training.
  • Marshall Island Maintenance Supervisor license required.
  • 3+ years experience with IFS.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain and repair all electronic equipment onboard the rig.
  • Ensure repairs are completed safely within the scheduled time to minimize backlog.
  • Minimize equipment failure within contractual limits.
  • Ensure permits, logs and isolation tags reflect current status.
  • Perform regular site inspections to ensure permit compliance.
  • Track PLCs and software versions and update as required.
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping onboard the rig.
  • Maintain clear two-way communication with crew.
  • Assist in developing new team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.
