HPC Industrial, powered by Clean Harbor, is seeking an offshore Tank Cleaning Technician in Lafayette, LA. The role focuses on hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination and material handling with strong safety emphasis.

Responsibilities include field tasks, operating equipment, using PPE, and standing by for emergency response on a rotating on-call basis. The position offers company benefits and growth opportunities within a safety-driven team.

Qualifications

• This position requires reliable transportation.
• Must be able to perform physical functions per key responsibilities.
• Emergency on-call; weekends/holidays may be required; shifts can extend beyond 8 hours.
• Successful completion of background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety is the top priority by following policies and procedures.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting heavy objects.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and use various hand tools and powered tools.
• Wear PPE and comply with protective equipment requirements in multiple configurations.
• Work in various temperatures and weather conditions, indoors and outdoors.
• Handle hazardous materials and perform waste loading/unloading safely.
• Climb ladders and scaffolding; work from trucks, tanks, and containers.
• Attend safety meetings and inspections; assist in field sampling and meter calibration.
