The CA Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation (CDCR) seeks an Office Technician (Typing) for the Investigative Services Unit in Lancaster, CA. Performs timely processing of ISU documents with discretion and independence, handling confidential material and tight deadlines.

Under the direct supervision of the Investigative Services Unit (ISU)-Internal Affairs Lieutenant, the Office Technician is responsible for the timely processing of all documents generated within ISU, which regularly performs a variety of the most difficult duties and is expected to consistently exercise a high degree of initiative, independence and confidentiality in performing assigned tasks. Positions at this level require detailed and sensitive public contact and/or independent origination of correspondence involving the knowledge and application of detailed regulating policies and procedures.
Effective July 1, 2025, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) was implemented. PLP 2025 requires that each full‑time employee receive a three (3) percent reduction in pay in exchange for five (5) hours of PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027. Salaries do not reflect the recent changes.
