Office Support Assistant for Purchasing/Sourcing

Essential Job Functions :

The Office Support Assistant is responsible for assisting the Office Manager on day to day Data Entry tasks and specifically will assist the Senior Buyer to process domestic purchasing of products/supplies for the company. Other activities include, but not limited to:

  • Performs general Office Support tasks, such as contract conversions, Loyalty and Bonus programs, and other assigned support duties to the Office Manager when not in direct Sourcing support
  • Assists with purchasing duties
  • Checks production samples
  • Assist with shipping schedules for holiday shops

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Database management and data entry experience
  • Strong proficiency in analysis tools including Microsoft Excel
  • High degree of business ethics and accountability
  • Ability to work effectively with team members in sales, warehouse, office and 3rd party providers
  • Organized, analytical and detail-oriented mindset is a must
  • Ability to prioritize, focus and manage time effectively
  • Highly motivated to assist in any way to help our company succeed
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced and close team environment
  • Flexibility to shift between projects as needed

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of administrative, data entry and/or professional experience preferred
  • Purchasing/Sourcing experience preferred

Excellent schedule: As a seasonal business, we work hard but also value our down time, which includes:

  • Two weeks off during Christmas Holiday to spend with loved ones
  • 4-day work weeks in the summer
  • Daytime hours (M-F)

The pay range for this role is:

16 - 18 USD per hour (Penguin Patch Office)
