Description

Team Fishel, recognized as the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction sector, is seeking an Office Support Teammate for our Richmond, VA office.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent Microsoft Excel skills, accounting knowledge, and be detail-oriented with familiarity in construction. Experience with Miss Utility is highly desirable.

This role requires someone capable of managing multiple deadline-driven responsibilities, multitasking effectively, and communicating clearly about workload and priorities. Precision and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  1. Material Inventory Reconciliation (Weekly/Monthly tracking)
  2. Processing Purchase Orders & Accounts Payable — full cycle understanding preferred. Responsibilities include handling purchase requests from field teammates, issuing POs, verifying deliveries, reconciling invoices, and setting up vendors locally and out of state.
  3. Payroll & Equipment management
  4. Filing and document management
  5. Data collection and analysis using Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets
  6. Invoicing
  7. Researching and compiling data
  8. Ensuring accurate job costing
  9. Accounts Receivable management as needed
  10. Other office duties as assigned

Prior construction industry experience is preferred; bilingual ability (English/Spanish) is a plus.
