Job summary

Gastro Associates of North Mississippi is seeking an Office Supervisor in Oxford, Mississippi. Lead the administrative team to ensure efficient operations, exceptional service, and proper use of resources in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

You will supervise clerical staff, recruit and train new team members, and coordinate with other departments to maintain smooth office workflows. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and communication skills and a commitment to patient-focused

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Clinical experience, previous experience as a Medical Assistant, LPN, or RN.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and support a team.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily workflow and operations of the office or department.
  • Supervise clerical and support services, ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
  • Provide hands-on support and guidance to staff as they perform their assigned duties.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and train new clerical team members.
  • Prepare, complete, and distribute required forms, reports, and other documentation.
  • Schedule and prioritize office activities to meet operational needs.
  • Identify workflow challenges, analyze issues, and implement practical solutions.
  • Monitor adherence to quality standards and established procedures.
  • Provide ongoing training, coaching, guidance, and motivation to team members.
  • Oversee the efficient use of office supplies and the maintenance of office equipment.
  • Serve as a liaison between the office and other departments and divisions.
  • Promote a collaborative, professional, and patient-focused work environment.

The Opportunity

What We’re Looking For
Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Clinical experience, previous experience as a Medical Assistant, LPN, or RN

Preferred:
  • Associate degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
