Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking an Office Staff Coordinator for the Arts and Sciences | Academic Enrichment area. This role oversees office operations for multiple programs, manages data and reports, drafts communications, and supports newsletters and websites.

Job description

Job Title: Office Staff Coordinator Department: Arts and Sciences | Academic Enrichment

Oversees office and administrative processes for the Academic Enrichment unit (including the ASC Honors program, the ASC Scholars programs, Global Education, undergraduate research, and service learning). Helps manage data and processes for scholarship competitions, ASC Honors orientation, ASC Honors Graduation, theses, review of students and other projects as assigned. Maintains ASC Honors database and pulls and shares data and reports as needed. Drafts communications for director and staff. Helps draft and administer large scale communications (newsletter) and has occasional authority to act on behalf of director related to communications for the department. Maintains websites. Maintains and oversees day-to-day operation of the computing or technology-based resources required for others to do their work. Assists with data and communication needs of ASC Advising and ASC Student Programs as needed.

Required: High School diploma or GED. One year office and/or operations experience including general office support, monitoring and processing budget and accounting information, providing customer service.

Desired: Bachelor's degree; Two years of office experience in progressively more responsible position; supervisory experience; knowledge of databases and all Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with student information system.

The pay range for this job profile is $18.56 - $24.09. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
