Job summary

Electrical Specialists, a Topeka-based residential electrical service company, seeks an Office and Operations Manager to own daily office operations and lead the team. You will coordinate the owner, office staff, field crew, and customers while implementing systems and SOPs to drive consistency.

Role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, compensation of $50,000–$75,000 with performance bonuses, health insurance, and a SIMPLE IRA.

• Experience coordinating people, schedules, projects, customers, or business operations.

Responsibilities

• Own daily office operations: oversee scheduling, dispatch, customer communication, and workflows.
• Keep billing, collections, and open customer issues moving so commitments aren’t missed.
• Lead and support the office team with direction, coaching, and accountability.
• Ensure office and field are connected with timely information.
• Monitor dashboards and KPIs; raise concerns with possible solutions.
• Track open issues, assign ownership, and enforce SOPs.
• Assist recruiting, onboarding, and employee development as the team grows.
• Document and deploy SOPs; improve recurring processes in coordination with partners.
