Canteen North America is hiring a full-time Moving Coordinator to manage office asset moves across multiple locations in Austin, TX. The role requires transporting and staging furniture, coordinating move requests, and ensuring safe handling of items with a company truck.

Qualifications include a valid driver’s license, proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong verbal and written communication, and the ability to lift heavy items as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and .pdf viewer/editors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and push/pull a minimum of 100 pounds.
• Ability to use a tape measure and understand and calculate dimensions.
• Ability to read and understand architectural floor plans or construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates move activities for company office assets across locations.
• Logs new move requests in the move tracking spreadsheet.
• Coordinates and conducts minor moves of boxes, furniture, and file cabinets with assistance as needed.
• Coordinates move timing with requestor.
• Drives a truck to meet scheduled and on demand move needs.
• Loads and unloads trucks to move furniture, equipment, supplies, and other materials as directed.
