Job summary

Travis County Facilities Management is seeking a Full-time (Temporary) Furniture and Move Services Coordinator in Austin, TX. Under supervision, you will coordinate with project managers and design professionals on procurement of furniture and scheduling move services for new constructions, renovations and relocations.

You will supervise in-house movers, develop schedules, evaluate performance, and use REVIT or AutoCAD to create space layouts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture or related field and two (2) years of directly related experience.
• Must be experienced in using REVIT or AutoCAD software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates delivery and assembly of furniture assets as per required timing identified by the Facilities Project Manager.
• Supervises in-house mover staff; interviews, hires, directs, develops and evaluates employee performance.
• Develops and maintains a database of purchased County furniture budgeted by the Facilities Management Department.
• Develops designs for spatial needs using REVIT or AutoCAD software.
