Job summary

Avita Health System is seeking an Office Medical Assistant for the Rheumatology clinic in Ontario, OH. This Regular Full-Time role supports patient flow and provides both administrative and direct care services to enhance patient comfort and satisfaction.

Responsibilities include performing designated procedures, maintaining efficient visit flow, and contributing to high-quality care. A high school diploma, BLS certification (or within 30 days), and a valid driver’s license are required;

Qualifications

• Required:BLS Certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Required: Valid driver’s license.
• Preferred: MA Certification, Pharmacy Tech, STNA, EMT or Paramedic.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of administrative and direct care tasks to promote patient comfort and satisfaction.
• Manages patient flow during the visitation process and completes required procedures as directed.

Position Overview

Performs a variety of administrative and direct care services to promote patient comfort and customer satisfaction. Responsible for patient flow throughout the visitation process and performing required procedures and tasks as directed.

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• BLS Certification or obtained within 30 days of hire
• Valid driver’s license.

Preferred:

• Certification or Registration as a Medical Assistant, Pharmacy Tech, STNA, EMT or Paramedic.
