Job summary

Avita Health System seeks an Office Medical Assistant to join the Pain Management Department at our Galion, Ontario, and Bucyrus locations in Ohio. The role supports patient care and administrative tasks to promote comfort and smooth patient flow throughout visits.

Regular full-time position requires a high school diploma, BLS certification, and a valid driver’s license, with opportunities for professional growth within Avita’s hospital and clinic network in Crawford and Richland counties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Preferred: MA/STNA/Pharmacy tech/EMT/Paramedic certification or registration.

Responsibilities

• Performs administrative and direct care services to promote patient comfort and satisfaction.
• Manages patient flow throughout the visitation process and performs required procedures and tasks as directed.

We’re currently seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our Pain Management Department at our Ontario, Galion, and Bucyrus locations.

Performs a variety of administrative and direct care services to promote patient comfort and customer satisfaction. Responsible for patient flow throughout the visitation process and performing required procedures and tasks as directed.

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• BLS Certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license.

Preferred:

• Certification or Registration as a Medical Assistant, STNA, Pharmacy tech, EMT or Paramedic.
