Job summary

Avita Health System in Ontario, OH is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our Health Services department at the Ontario location. This role involves performing a mix of administrative tasks and direct patient care to support efficient patient flow and comfort.

The successful candidate will hold a high school diploma or equivalent, plus BLS certification or the ability to obtain it within 30 days, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant, STNA, EMT, or Paramedic.

Responsibilities

• Performs administrative and direct care services to promote patient comfort and satisfaction.
• Manages patient flow during visitation and carries out required procedures as directed.

We’re currently seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our Health ServicesDepartment at our Ontario location.

Position Overview

Performs a variety of administrative and direct care services to promote patient comfort and customer satisfaction. Responsible for patient flow throughout the visitation process and performing required procedures and tasks as directed.

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• BLS Certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license.

Preferred:

• Certification or Registration as a Medical Assistant, STNA, EMT or Paramedic.
