Job summary

Avita Health System is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Rheumatology clinic in Ontario, OH. The LPN will assess, plan, and implement nursing care under physician supervision, support patient education, and coordinate with clinical staff to optimize patient flow.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse in State of Ohio is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Two or more years of experience in a physician office is preferred.

We’re currently seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Health ServicesDepartment at our Ontario location.

Position Overview

Assesses, plans and implements the nursing care of patients within the physician clinic with the supervision of the physician or Allied Health Provider (CNP/PA). Participates in patient and family teaching. Maintains role as patient advocate with a focus on the facility’s mission. Provides coordination to the clinical staff as to patient flow and clinical operations as directed by the physician.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse in State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification.

Preferred:

• Two (2) or more years of previous experience in a physician office.
