Job summary

The Rim Dental Care in San Antonio, TX is seeking an Office Manager who owns the numbers, the schedule, and the team. This role is not clerical: you will manage production and collection targets, run the morning huddle, hire and develop the front and back office, and ensure HIPAA, OSHA, and state regulations are followed.

You will have the authority to make decisions and are expected to act decisively to keep the doctors focused on dentistry while building a compliant, efficient practice with

Qualifications

• Two+ years managing a dental practice or healthcare office leadership.
• Fluency with practice management software, insurance workflows and dental reporting.
• Willing to have direct conversations with a team member when needed.
• Strong ability to read production reports and identify changes.
• High moral and ethical standards that cannot be compromised.

Responsibilities

• Own daily, weekly, and monthly production, collection, and case-acceptance targets and report on them.
• Run the morning huddle and keep the schedule productive with no holes or overbooked columns.
• Hire, train, schedule, and develop the administrative and clinical support team.
• Keep claims, attachments, and accounts receivable current; chase aged balances.
• Handle escalated patient concerns before they become reviews.
• Ensure HIPAA, OSHA, and state compliance and maintain proper records.

This is not a clerical role. You will hold the production and collection targets, run the morning huddle, hire and develop the front and back office, keep insurance aging under control, and make sure the doctors can spend their day doing dentistry.

You will have the authority to make decisions, and the expectation that you will make them.

What you'll do

• Run the morning huddle and keep the schedule productive no holes, no overbooked columns.
• Hire, train, schedule, and develop the administrative and clinical support team.
• Keep claims, attachments, and accounts receivable current, and chase aged balances before they age further.
• Handle escalated patient concerns before they become reviews.
• Keep the practice compliant with HIPAA, OSHA, and state regulations and keep the records that prove it.

What we're looking for

• Two or more years managing a dental practice, or comparable leadership in a healthcare office.
• Fluency in practice management software, insurance workflows, and dental reporting.
• Willing to have the direct conversation with a team member on the day it is needed, not the week after.
• Numbers literacy: you can read a production report and say what should change on Monday.
• High moral and ethical standards that cannot be compromised under any circumstances.
