Job summary

Centennial Dental Office in Centennial, CO is seeking an Office Manager who owns the numbers, the schedule, and the team. This is not a clerical role. You will hold production and collection targets, run the morning huddle, hire and develop the front and back office, keep insurance aging under control, and ensure doctors can focus on dentistry.

You will have authority to make decisions and are expected to act decisively, with a focus on improving practice performance and compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years managing a dental practice or healthcare office.
• Fluency in practice management software and dental insurance workflows.
• Direct conversation with team members when needed, not later.
• Ability to read production reports and recommend changes.

Responsibilities

• Own daily, weekly, and monthly production, collection, and case-acceptance targets.
• Run the morning huddle and keep the schedule productive with no holes.
• Hire, train, schedule, and develop administrative and clinical staff.
• Keep claims and aging under control and chase aged balances.
• Address escalated patient concerns before they lead to reviews.
• Ensure HIPAA, OSHA, and state compliance with proper records.

You will have the authority to make decisions, and the expectation that you will make them.

What you'll do

• Own daily, weekly, and monthly production, collection, and case-acceptance targets, and report on them.
• Run the morning huddle and keep the schedule productive - no holes, no overbooked columns.
• Hire, train, schedule, and develop the administrative and clinical support team.
• Keep claims, attachments, and accounts receivable current, and chase aged balances before they age further.
• Handle escalated patient concerns before they become reviews.
• Keep the practice compliant with HIPAA, OSHA, and state regulations - and keep the records that prove it.

What we're looking for

• Two or more years managing a dental practice, or comparable leadership in a healthcare office.
• Fluency in practice management software, insurance workflows, and dental reporting.
• Willing to have the direct conversation with a team member on the day it is needed, not the week after.
• Numbers literacy: you can read a production report and say what should change on Monday.
• High moral and ethical standards that cannot be compromised under any circumstances.
