Job Title: Office Manager (Grades: 6-8) (RTP20250613-013)
Job Description:
- Perform secretarial functions for the Principal, including generating communications for approval and signature.
- Coordinate and maintain the Principal's and school-wide calendars.
- Manage district-level information for the principal, such as weekly bulletins, events, training, meetings, and deadlines.
- Schedule and assign work for the Principal’s clerk and other office staff.
- Attend all required administrative meetings and training sessions.
- Maintain sufficient office supplies and materials in advance of need.
- Serve as the main contact for staff, substitutes, students, parents, and community members regarding campus operations.
- Use attendance reports to monitor and record daily staff attendance and reconcile monthly, bi-weekly, and supplemental records.
- Handle supplemental pay requests, including creating pay activity codes, reviewing reports, and reconciling time cards, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Ensure compliance with all supplemental pay policies and procedures.
- Utilize Budget Manager Reports to monitor and adjust line item accounts.
- Manage requisitions and the reconciliation process, including generating requisitions, verifying funding, maintaining supporting documents, receiving materials/services, and monitoring payments.
- Maintain all documents related to grant expenditures, including materials, contracts, events, field trips, and personnel data.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Principal.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance at the worksite.

Work Environment:
The noise level is usually moderate. Travel throughout the district is required. Remote work is not an option for campus-based employees due to the necessity of onsite presence.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma with three years of related clerical or secretarial experience, or an Associate’s Degree in a related field.
- Knowledge of district organization, operations, and policies.
- Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Willingness to stay current with professional developments.
Physical Demands:
Regularly required to sit, communicate, stand, move, handle objects, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, and balance. Occasionally lift or exert force up to 10 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, and focus adjustment. Frequent long and irregular hours may be required.
