The Cannabis Expungement Board in St. Paul, MN is seeking an Office Manager to provide high-level administrative support to senior leadership, serve as receptionist, and act as liaison to board members.

The role requires handling confidential information, coordinating meetings, travel, purchasing, and document management in a fast-paced environment. Telework is eligible up to 2 days per week; standard schedule is Monday through Friday, Day Shift, with opportunities to advance and support agency

Qualifications

  • Ability to respond effectively to confidential and sensitive inquiries and/or complaints.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting procedures to create purchase orders, prepare invoices, and other financial duties.
  • Experience providing executive level support and schedule management
  • Experience with purchasing and procurement in the public sector
  • Experience with database, document, and records management
  • Ability to establish, develop, document, and improve administrative and program procedures
  • Experience working in a law office or the legal field
  • Knowledge of the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act

This position provides high level administrative support to the Cannabis Expungement Board’s (CEB’s) senior leadership team, serves as receptionist and office manager for the CEB office, and acts as CEB liaison to CEB Board members. The incumbent will communicate on many levels with agency staff, board members, the Governor's Office, legislative staff, various external partners, other agency staff, and the public.
