Job description

The Cleveland Institute of Art (CIA) is seeking a highly organized and service-oriented Office Manager & Events Coordinator to oversee daily operations in the CIA Welcome Center and the Offices of Admissions, Financial Aid, and Enrollment Marketing.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Managing internal administrative processes, including clerical support, application material preparation, and budgetary paperwork.
  2. Supervising student workers and Admissions Ambassadors.
  3. Planning and executing recruitment events.
  4. Managing CIA merchandise and online store operations.
  5. Maintaining a welcoming front office environment.
  6. Acting as a liaison between internal departments and external offices.
Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of office administration, customer service, event coordination, financial processing, and supervising student staff.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1–2 years of administrative or clerical experience, preferably in a customer-facing or academic setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
