Job summary

Old Settlers Dental in Round Rock, TX is seeking an experienced Office Manager to lead daily operations, drive patient care excellence, and develop a high-performing team in a growing practice.

You will recruit, train, coach, and retain staff; manage schedules, payroll, benefits, and records; monitor production and collections; and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and office efficiency, all while maintaining a positive, patient-centric culture.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years dental office management or related leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of dental operations and management principles.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing team members.
  • Knowledge of dental insurance, treatment financing, and billing processes.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the doctor and team members.
  • Lead day-to-day practice operations to ensure efficiency and exceptional patient care.
  • Create and maintain a culture focused on outstanding customer service.
  • Train, coach, mentor, and support team members to maximize performance and engagement.
  • Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees.
  • Monitor office performance and implement strategies to improve productivity, collections, and patient satisfaction.
  • Ensure the practice consistently meets production and collection goals.
  • Conduct team meetings, morning huddles, and ongoing staff development activities.
  • Manage employee schedules, compensation, benefits, and personnel records.
  • Delegate responsibilities effectively while maintaining accountability across the team.
  • Support administrative functions, including scheduling, communications, and record management.
  • Assist with bookkeeping, reporting, and operational record-keeping.
  • Analyze key performance metrics and develop action plans to support continued growth.
  • Ensure compliance with office policies, procedures, and industry standards.
