Job Title: Office Manager
Location: Newark, NJ
Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year
Schedule: Full-time, 5 days/week (on-site)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Office Manager for a pediatric dental practice in Newark, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing office operations, billing reconciliation, staff management, and overseeing inventory and supplies. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient day-to-day operations of the office while maintaining a high level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Billing & Reconciliation:

  • Assist with billing processes and manage the reconciliation of accounts.
  • Ensure the accuracy of claims and payments, utilizing software that handles most of the billing process (e.g., processing claims, handling split claims, denials, etc.).
  • Help manage payments collected on the day of service and maintain a high collection rate (currently 97%).
  • Staff Management:

  • Provide support for managing the office team and foster a collaborative, positive work environment.
  • Oversee scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to ensure smooth office operations.
  • Credentialing & Fee Negotiations:

  • Oversee credentialing processes for new and existing providers.
  • Lead fee enhancement negotiations to improve reimbursement rates.
  • Supplies & Inventory Management:

  • Take charge of maintaining office supplies and inventory, ensuring timely reordering and cost-effective management.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in office management.
    • At least 5 years of experience in a pediatric dental practice.
    • Preferably from an office that grossed over $2-3 million annually.
  • Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of dental billing and coding practices, including familiarity with split claims and denials.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficient with office management software and ability to handle administrative duties with attention to detail.

    Benefits:

    • Competitive salary of $80,000 - $90,000 annually.
