National Vice President at The Bachrach Group

Health network located in Jamaica Queens is seeking an Office Manager for one of their top departments. This role is responsible for coordinating the daily administrative operations of a hospital-based Department. Key responsibilities include managing provider scheduling through QGenda, processing payroll, resolving credentialing issues in collaboration with affiliated hospital staff, and preparing charge tickets for third-party billing.

The position is paying up to $95K and the company would like to hire ASAP!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all office procedures and administrative staff.
  • Provide administrative support to departmental leadership.
  • Prepare staff schedules and process departmental payroll.
  • Monitor and track time and attendance for approximately 15 employees.
  • Maintain and update performance improvement dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Track clinical staff sick and vacation time.
  • Record and distribute minutes from departmental meetings.
  • Maintain and update provider compliance files.
  • Ensure department is always prepared for Joint Commission readiness.
  • Manage phone triage and ensure clear, timely communication.
  • Order and maintain office supplies and equipment.
  • Print and prepare anesthesia charge tickets for billing purposes.
  • Draft, edit, and format various documents.
  • Submit payroll for both clinical and clerical staff.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • College degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a managerial role, preferably within a healthcare setting.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and occasionally high-pressure environment.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.
  • Experience with data entry and billing processes.
  • Proficiency in systems such as QGenda, Kronos, EPIC, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of hospital credentialing and privileging procedures.
