Kia of Manhattan is seeking an experienced accounting and administrative professional to own essential dealership financial processes. You will manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll documentation and monthly statements, collaborating with the General Manager and various departments to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

The role emphasizes precision, integrity and operational excellence, supporting a world-class customer experience as part of the G1 Group family of dealerships.

Qualifications

  • Three or more years of experience in a related position or field.
  • Dealership accounting experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong mathematical, analytical and account-reconciliation skills.
  • Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to prepare spreadsheets, formulas, reports, correspondence and business documents.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own the core accounting and administrative workflows for the dealership.
  • Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and reports with the General Manager.
  • Ensure accurate posting, reconciliation and reporting across departments.

Work closely with the General Manager and every dealership department to ensure financial transactions, payroll documentation, accounts, titles and reports are completed accurately and on time.

What You'll Own
Keep every transaction, account and report on track.

You will oversee the core accounting and administrative workflows that allow the dealership to operate accurately, efficiently and on schedule.

Accounting & Reporting
  • Manage all aspects of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Oversee cash-receipt posting, bank deposit slips and account reconciliation.
  • Work with the General Manager to prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
  • Review dealership records, resolve discrepancies and ensure transactions are recorded daily.
  • Ensure required payroll documentation, deduction reports and allocations meet established deadlines.
  • Manage trade-in and vehicle-buying-center payoffs.
  • Oversee receiving, issuing and flooring titles as well as filing electronic liens.
  • Collaborate across departments while following company standards, policies and procedures.
