Position Objective: The Office Manager is responsible for providing 5 Star Service in assisting physicians with daily office operations and treatment of geriatric patients, following established standards and practices. The role reports to the Regional Manager and manages a care team of 3-7 medical assistants and/or receptionists.

Responsibilities include:
  • Oversee and improve clinic performance and KPIs like HEDIS, admission management, ER utilization, etc.
  • Manage clinic staff, including payroll, PTO, hours, and performance.
  • Communicate with providers to ensure quality patient care.
  • Assist with scheduling, administrative, and clinical duties.
  • Lead daily clinic huddles and assign outreach efforts.
  • Manage office operations for efficiency and patient focus.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, staff, and other departments.
  • Onboard and train new team members per policies.
  • Ensure accuracy of all incoming and outgoing information and documentation.
  • Report office trends, recommend policy improvements.
  • Participate in team meetings and communicate updates.
  • Maintain current team calendars and records.
  • Assist providers with credentialing, licenses, and memberships.
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare, HIPAA, OSHA, and report breaches.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Position Requirements/Skills
  • 4-5 years of Medical Assisting experience preferred.
  • At least 1 year of leadership experience.
  • CPR certification preferred.
  • Strong communication, confidentiality, and medical terminology skills.
  • Knowledge of medical coding, HIPAA, OSHA, and basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
  • Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
  • Clinical skills such as vital signs, medication review, injections, blood draws, etc.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to handle patients and medical equipment, lift up to 15 lbs, and operate a vehicle.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive salary ($50,000-$55,000/year), benefits including health insurance, 401k, PTO, and holidays.
