Summary/Objective
This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day administrative operations at a corporate office located in Houston, TX. The Corporate Office Manager supervises administrative staff and ensures smooth internal operations and a professional workplace environment.
Essential Functions
- Supervise the administrative team, providing guidance, performance feedback, and direction.
- Manage staff scheduling to ensure proper coverage.
- Hire, develop, and evaluate administrative staff; implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure team is properly trained in safety procedures, company policies, and system use.
- Oversee front desk/reception to ensure high standards of service and professionalism.
- Coordinate facility layout, maintenance, and vendor relationships (e.g., cleaning, hospitality, equipment service).
- Work with internal departments on space planning and team relocations.
- Manage purchasing for office supplies and equipment within budget guidelines.
- Reconcile vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Administer the site’s business continuity plan.
- Publish daily internal updates via electronic message boards.
- Assist in corporate event logistics and special projects as assigned.
- Serve as a backup across various administrative tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)
- 3–4 years of administrative experience
- Minimum of 2 years in an office management role
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluent in English (bilingual a plus)
- Ability to work independently and resolve issues with minimal supervision
- Experience training and motivating staff
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Standard indoor office environment
- Use of computers, phones, printers, and other typical office equipment
- Regular movement including sitting, standing, bending, and lifting (up to 25 lbs)
- Occasional overtime required
Travel Requirements
- Local travel may be required, with occasional overnight travel (up to 10%)
