WORK LOCATION: Ann Arbor, MI
SALARY RANGE: $22 - $32
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
This is a part-time position (22 – 26 hours per week), with the potential to grow into full-time as the needs of the role may grow. Edge can be flexible with the schedule for the work hours. Please indicate your preferred schedule in your application.
Summary
The office manager plays a pivotal role in coordinating office activities with site management and assisting with needed administrative tasks to ensure site operations run smoothly.
Responsibilities
The following job functions are a basic requirement but are not limited to and may be assigned other duties.
- Manage office supplies and coordinate restocking as required
- Coordinate food and venues for office events (on-site and off-site)
- Manage the cafe vending items, order, and restock as required
- Manage “Company Swag” supply and allocation to team
- Coordinate with site’s EHS Consultant to manage all safety postings and first aid stock and coordinate safety training as required
- Manage facility safety equipment, inspect, and restock as required
- Coordinate relationships and services provided by key Facility Vendors (e.g., Landscaping, Pest Control, Dumpster, Recycling, Office Cleaning, Window Washing, etc.)
- Coordinate new employee onboarding w/ HR, Facilities Team, IT, and Hiring Manager
- Participate in site Engagement Committee which arranges team building, volunteer and other engagement activities for the full team
- Photograph employees during events and as needed for marketing and internal communication needs
- Coordinate weekly updates to “screen content” and distribute office memos and newsletters as required
- Coordinate with site Facility Manager in implementation of Site Access and Site Security processes
- Coordinate with IT to troubleshoot minor IT issues
- Facilitate conflict management for shared meeting rooms as needed
- Manage shared space 5S/Housekeeping standards and processes
- Process physical mail 3 times per week
Required Qualifications
The following are a non-exhaustive list of qualifications for the position:
- High School diploma/GED
- Experience in office management or administrative roles.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
- High levels of organizational skills
- Familiarity with office management software e.g., Microsoft Office Suite and Project Management tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using office software and equipment, including printers,
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards in handling sensitive information and business operations
- Intermittent need to lift up to 30 lbs.
