Job summary

Luxury Presence in Austin is seeking an Onsite IT Support Specialist to be the face of IT in the office. This hands-on, in-person role reports to the Director of IT and collaborates with an IT Engineer to keep the office running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in a help desk or IT support role, with comfort troubleshooting hardware and basic networking. Strong ownership, clear communication, and reliable documentation are essential.

Qualifications

1–2 years in a help desk or IT support role, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Entry-level candidates with a strong interest in technology are welcome.
Comfortable troubleshooting hardware and basic networking issues and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

Own the helpdesk queue and walk-up requests for the Austin office, resolving most issues independently.
Troubleshoot hardware, peripherals, and basic network connectivity for end users.
Provision and deprovision workstations and set up devices for new hires.
Procure equipment and ensure new hires have a ready-to-use machine on day one.
Build and maintain an audit-ready inventory of all IT equipment in the office.
Maintain and troubleshoot AV equipment and ensure conference rooms are ready.
Learn and own the daily office rhythm, including opening/closing procedures.
Spend initial months training and shadowing before taking full ownership.
