As the Office & Facilities Manager of Optiver’s New York office, you will support the creation of our new office to ensure our goal of creating the best-in-class employee, candidate, and guest experience. Working with the US Office Operations team, you will influence decisions regarding the physical space, health and safety, security, hospitality, catering, and office administration. As part of a collaborative team, you can develop an office environment that aligns with our culture of high performance and high reward.

What you’ll do:

You will lead the planning and execution of all office operations initiatives, including facilities management, remodeling, personnel moves, and vendor management. Working closely across teams and offices, you will oversee space requirements to create a best-in-class employee experience.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Partnering with the US Head of Office Operations to establish high-level goals, policies, and processes based on business impact and ROI;
  • Collaborating with external partners such as building management, contractors, and workplace experience vendors;
  • Supporting senior leadership with office or space renovations and acting as the point of escalation;
  • Assisting with the build-out of our New York office, ensuring collaboration and a positive employee experience;
  • Monitoring SLAs, KPIs, and contractual agreements, evaluating providers, and supporting change management;
  • Overseeing the local Office Operations budget, tracking, analyzing, and reporting costs regularly.

Who you are:
  • Experience in office management, facilities, and construction projects;
  • Solid background in facilities management, remodeling, and office moves;
  • Knowledge of building infrastructure/MEP fundamentals (HVAC, electrical, plumbing);
  • Proven ability to build excellent workplace experiences;
  • Strong vendor management skills;
  • Understanding of technical solutions like ticketing systems;
  • Resilient, with a focus on quality amidst competing priorities;
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills;
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities;
  • Patience and analytical skills for problem-solving;
  • Flexibility to work evenings or weekends occasionally;
  • Ability to work independently under pressure.

The expected base salary for this role is between $100,000 and $150,000 USD, based on experience and performance. The role may also include a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits.
