AI Engineers, Inc. (AIE) seeks an experienced Office Engineer to support New Jersey Department of Transportation projects across the state.

The role requires strong organization, clear communication, and the ability to work independently within a dynamic consulting team. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in construction inspection or office engineering on civil/highway projects, with a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience in construction inspection for civil/highway or related engineering and survey field, preferably with office engineering work on projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field preferred.
• NJ DOT/NJTA/NJ Transit experience required.
• Experience with Primavera, AASTOWare, Project BI or similar preferred.

Aufgaben

• Perform the duties of an Office Engineer on large or mid-size project with overall project record-keeping.
• Set up and maintain computations and other records.
• Prepare and process change orders.
• Process payment estimates.
• Analyze submitted prices and estimate prices for new contract items.
• Assist the Resident Engineer/Chief Inspector in administrative functions.
• Maintain as-built drawings.
• Close-out projects.
• Maintain field records.
