Job summary

McCourt Construction, a Boston-based general contractor, seeks an Office Engineer to support the Heavy Civil and Energy divisions on large public works projects. You will handle RFIs, constructability reviews, drawing checks, and coordination with subs and suppliers to keep projects on track.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree or related field and is proficient with AutoCAD; strong teamwork and cost-control awareness are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar industry software is a plus.
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate to complete projects.

Responsibilities

• Handle RFIs and constructability reviews.
• Review drawing accuracy and implement redesigns as needed.
• Coordinate with subs and suppliers; manage documentation.
• Support cost control, surveys, scheduling, and project tasks.
• Other duties required to complete projects.

Applicants should have the following qualifications,

• Ability to interact with individuals from the labor force and negotiate with customers.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Be computer literate (experience with AutoCAD and other industry-related programs is a plus).
• Desire to work in a team environment and collaborate to get the job done.
