$25.41 to $30.57 per hour plus benefits based on current AFSCME contract
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive incoming calls and office visitors, showing sensitivity to families concerning culture and diversity.
- Provide excellent customer service. Meet and greet all families.
- Manage the enrollment paperwork of all incoming families for each building in the district.
- Complete phone and walk-in registrations, manage enrollments and records for all district families.
- Collaborate with elementary, middle, and high school staff regarding enrollments of incoming students.
- Work with the enrollment center staff to ensure enrollments are entered and provided to buildings in a timely manner.
- Manage student data in Infinite Campus and maintain records using databases and spreadsheets.
- Review that enrollments are entered accurately and that resident districts are entered correctly in Infinite Campus.
- Work with enrollment staff to validate MARSS numbers in MDE state system.
- Maintainrecords and manage files sent out districtwide.
- Prep records to be scanned to buildings.
- Prepare record requests to be sent electronically.
- Work with families to provide information on how to gain school district information. Collaborate on content for enrollment centerweb pages.
- Enter student data and update spreadsheets provided to buildings.
- Work with transportation, health servicesand guidance departments.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED required. Three years or more of office support experience preferred.
- Fluent in Spanish required (spoken and written) to effectively communicate with families in the enrollment center.
- Proven record of strong organizational skills in a busy office with frequent interruptions.
- Word processing experience, preferably PC and Microsoft Word.
- Proficient skills with databases such as Excel, Google Sheets. Google Calendar, email.
- Knowledge of programs such as Infinite Campus and Skyward.
- Understanding and effective management of budgets.
- Ability to manage the office and effectively problem-solve.
- Excellent grammar, spelling, math, editing, writing and problem-solving skills.
- Trustworthy with the ability to work independently, make decisions and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work with diverse populations and personalities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff within the program and across the district to support and further program goals.
- Welcoming attitude with strong interpersonal skills and rapport.
