The Standard School District is seeking a District Receptionist and Clerk at the Education Services Center. The ideal candidate will greet the public, answer calls, handle clerical tasks, and assist with maintaining the district website and social media.
Applicants must be organized, possess effective communication skills in English and Spanish, and meet a typing speed of at least 35 words per minute. A thorough medical assessment and clearance will be required before hire.

7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Supervised by the Superintendent, in cooperation with other Education Service Center supervisory or confidential personnel, receives the public in person or via phone, communicates effectively, routes calls and messages, and performs routine clerical functions including but not limited to: utilize shredder, copier, computer terminal and other office equipment; read, proof, check, file and locate materials; create or change letters and forms, complete or prepare requisitions, surveys, state reports and various documents; maintain facilities use calendar; arrange appointments or meetings; set and maintain a regular filing system; respect confidentiality of office information; assist in maintaining the district website and social media; provide transcription, translation and interpreter services in Spanish is preferred; perform all duties as required in a friendly professional manner; and perform other duties as required.
Organize and file documents/reports, perform routine clerical functions, word process or type with a speed of a minimum of 35 wpm (certificate dated within the last 12 months is required). Knowledge of techniques and strategies to effectively communicate with the public in both English and Spanish is preferred.
Range 15, Step 1: $20.60

The applicant selected will be required to successfully complete a pre-placement medical assessment, TB clearance, and fingerprint clearance before being hired as a probationary employee.
