Job summary

Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush (MOR) is seeking a full-time Assistant Office Coordinator for the North Riverside outpatient rehabilitation clinic. You will liaison between MOR, patients, clinicians, insurers, and billing; manage scheduling, registration, copays, and communications with care teams.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong customer service, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Prior medical experience, preferably in a Physical Therapy clinic, is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and register patients.
• Collect copayments, self-pay and DME payments.
• Serve as liaison between patients, clinical staff and billing.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines and policies.
• Support Office Coordinator with daily tasks and communications.
• Coordinate pre-approvals and insurance verifications.
• Answer patient inquiries promptly and courteously.
• Maintain and use office equipment; handle projects as assigned.
