Henry Ford Health in Detroit seeks an experienced Office Coordinator for a full-time, day shift. You will drive department efficiency, mentor staff, and ensure outstanding customer experiences from the first contact.
Under supervision, you’ll manage daily operations, supervise clerical teams, handle data management, charge capture, and reporting while maintaining compliance with regulations. Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm; no weekends or holidays.

GENERAL SUMMARY:
As an Office Coordinator, you'll be the operational backbone of your department—driving efficiency, supporting your team, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences from the first point of contact. Working under the general supervision of your manager, you'll orchestrate day-to-day operations, mentor new associates, and solve the problems that keep everything running smoothly. You're not just managing tasks; you're enabling your team to deliver outstanding service.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent is required. Associates Degree in Business, Medical Assisting or Healthcare Management preferred. Four (4) years of previous experience in hospital/healthcare office. Knowledge of medical terminology and general office procedures. Literacy and experience using Microsoft Office software programs required. Previous supervisory or team leader experience preferred. Advanced knowledge of office equipment.
