Henry Ford Health in Detroit is seeking an Office Coordinator to be the operational backbone of the department, driving efficiency, mentoring staff, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences from first contact.
You will supervise clerical teams, manage records and databases, handle charge capture and billing reconciliation, and support compliance with federal and state regulations, enabling the team to deliver outstanding service.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent is required. Associates Degree in Business, Medical Assisting or Healthcare Management preferred. Four (4) years of previous experience in hospital/healthcare office. Knowledge of medical terminology and general office procedures. Literacy and experience using Microsoft Office software programs required. Previous supervisory or team leader experience preferred. Advanced knowledge of office equipment.
