Job summary

Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Electrical Estimator to develop precise cost estimates for tenant improvements and new construction electrical installations.

You will analyze plans, perform material and labor takeoffs, and coordinate with project managers and purchasing to prepare competitive bids. The role requires at least three years of commercial electrical estimating experience, the ability to read diverse construction drawings, and proficiency with

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of commercial electrical estimating experience.
• Ability to interpret refrigeration, mechanical, plumbing, architectural, and/or structural plans and specifications related to electrical installation.
• Thorough knowledge of electrical materials and methods of installation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, SureCount, Autodesk, Intellibid, and/or EBM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings, specifications, and project documents to determine scope and estimate requirements.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for electrical systems, materials, equipment, and labor.
• Prepare accurate, complete, and competitive cost estimates and proposals for commercial electrical construction projects.
• Participate in project meetings and provide estimating input during preconstruction and planning phases.
• Maintain knowledge of electrical industry pricing, trends, and emerging technologies.
