The cover letter should address your specific interest in the position and include your current class schedule.## Job SummaryThe Department of Mathematics and Statistics is looking for a hardworking and motivated student to work as an office assistant for the Fall 2026 term. This role also serves the Women's and Gender Studies Program.## What You'll DoAs the front point person to our office, you will greet guests, answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, process printing and copy requests for faculty and staff, create flyers and social media posts, sort mail, and other office duties.## Required Qualifications\** Current federal work-study student* Current undergraduate degree seeking student* Dependable* Excellent communication skills* Strong technology skills* Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite## Desired Qualifications\** Experience working in an academic setting* Experience working with confidential material* Experience in event planning* Experience with social media## Modes of WorkPositions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department.
