Job description

We are a leading group tour operator providing international group travel to performing ensembles, dragon boat teams, and other special-interest groups. We are seeking a part-time, on-site Office Administrator.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • OFFICE COORDINATION
    • Fielding phone calls
    • Processing credit card authorization forms
    • Responding to help desk tickets
    • Managing incoming and outgoing mail
  • OFFICE SUPPORT
    • Assembling, printing, and shipping marketing, sales, and pre-departure materials
    • Creating payment websites using a no-code payment portal
    • Providing traveler-facing resource support
      • Creating tour websites using a no-code website builder
      • Creating preliminary tour proposals
      • Sourcing new content
      • Data entry
      • Research

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Is available 15-20 hours per week, ideally M-F, 8:30am-11:30am/12:30pm
  • Has administrative and customer service experience
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and adherence to instructions
  • Is a clear, professional, warm communicator

NICE-TO-HAVES

  • Proofreading skills
  • Familiarity with the following tech tools (we’ll train you, but comfort with computers is key!)
    • Zendesk or another help desk ticketing system
    • Authorize.net or another payment gateway
    • Outlook, SharePoint, and other Microsoft products
    • Adobe Acrobat Sign or another e-signature service
    • Basecamp or another project management platform
    • Qwilr or another proposal software
    • HubSpot or another CRM

  • Compensation is $20-$25 hourly.
