This is an adjunct instructor position, teaching online Office Administration courses. The minimum required credential is an Associate's in Health Information Management or related field and a certification in CPC, RHA, or RHIT. Adjunct instructors are part-time employees responsible for providing quality instruction to the students of Bay Mills Community College. Instructors work under the direction of the Vice President for Academic Affairs and the respective Department Chair. The instructor will record weekly lectures and assist students in mastering topics such as electronic health records (EHR), medical office procedures, insurance and billing, and transcription. Instructors must meet academic and professional qualifications, be dedicated to academic excellence and a student-centered education, and support the mission and objectives of Bay Mills Community College.
