Mt. Hood Community College in Oregon seeks an instructional professional to deliver quality instruction and support student learning across classrooms, labs, and learning centers.
This on-site role emphasizes curriculum development and the use of current technology to enhance student success. The position requires maintaining records, alignment with program objectives, and active participation in a diverse college community.
Provides quality instruction that will contribute to the learning experiences necessary for each student to meet the objectives of the course and to be successful in both their education and career development experiences.
Work is typically performed in a normal office environment and classroom setting. This is an on‑site position. Any remote work requires prior approval and must comply with MHCC Remote Work policies and administrative regulations. Remote work must be within the states of Oregon or Washington.
Initial salary placement for Instructional Load Credit (ILC) Instructors will be based on applicable education and/or years of relevant full‑time equivalent experience at the sole discretion of the College, per the guidelines in the Collective Bargaining Agreement and in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws. Initial salary placement for all other newly hired instructors will be at Level 1.
