Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, CS, IT, or equivalent experience/certs.
• 1–3 years of cybersecurity experience or related internship/co-op.
• Working knowledge of Windows/Linux, networks, and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP, PTES, CWE, CVSS.
• Scripting or automation with Python/PowerShell/Bash.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform authorized penetration tests on Abbott assets within scope and ROE.
• Support adversary emulation and purple team exercises; document lessons learned.
• Validate vulnerabilities and map attack paths to MITRE ATT&CK/OWASP/CWE.
• Produce clear assessment reports with evidence, CVSS severity, and remediation guidance.
• Collaborate with Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, and Vulnerability teams; contribute to playbooks and tooling.
