Job summary

Abbott Laboratories is seeking a Cybersecurity Manager to act as a strategic advisor to business and technology leadership. You will align enterprise cybersecurity with business objectives, ensuring privacy, security, and regulatory compliance across products and initiatives.

You will guide cross-functional teams, implement risk-based programs, and lead discussions on secure development, incident response, and governance within Abbott's Rapid and Molecular Diagnostics Division.

Qualifications

• 10-12 years of experience with mastery in two security domains.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of General Computer Controls: information security, operations, vendor management, BC, networks, DB, software, hardware, and app development controls.
• Familiarity with major frameworks and standards (NIST, ISO 27001/2, SOC2, HITRUST, FedRAMP).
• CISM certification and strong regulatory compliance knowledge (NIST, ISO, SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, FDA).
• Understanding of OWASP, CVSS, and MITRE ATT&CK.

Responsibilities

• Guide business units and teams to meet program requirements enabling the business.
• Develop strategies, policies, and standards to protect information and assets.
• Serve as cybersecurity SME in meetings to guide secure practices and decisions.
• Keep up-to-date with regulatory, privacy, and security guidance.
• Contribute to risk-based cybersecurity programs aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance across jurisdictions.
